LUMORA was born from a story of survival, love, and the power of light in life’s darkest moments.

There was a time when my world almost ended. In those unbearable days, one person said to me a simple promise “I’m here. I am always here.” Those words became my anchor. They carried me through, and they have stayed with me ever since.

In that darkness, I realised what I longed for most was simple: for someone to just be there.

One day, my son told me that if someone gave him a gift with a heartfelt message, it would make him feel truly special — encouraged, valued, and remembered.

His words touched me deeply and reminded me how powerful a small gesture can be.

That moment lit a spark. I knew then that I wanted to create something more than beautiful, handmade silk gifts. I wanted to create gifts that carry meaning — a touch of light for someone’s everyday, and a reminder that they are not alone.
